OTAGO DREDGING RETURNS. I (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 14. During the week ended to-day returns were reported from 36 dredges, the total gold yielded being 9590z lOdwt 21gr, or an average of 2tioz per dredge. FIND OF A NEW REEF. DUNEDIN, Nov. H. The Clyde correspondent of tbe Times states that a party of prospectors has been engaged for some time testing a new line ol quartz reef in Conroy's Gully. The outcrop shows a mixture of highly oxidised country. The gold does not show freely in tho stone, although crushing gave some splendid results. There is a good deal of free gold whero tho stone is at all ruMbly. Tests made from the solid stone gave from threo ounces to twenty ounces to the ton. There is an abundant supply of water, which tho prospectors intend using to provide power for a battery.
