PROSECUTION OF AN OFFICER ABANDONED. PARIS, Nov. 10. The prosecution of M. Deutriche, of the French War Ofllce, (or having aliened entries in the books ia his charge in connection with the Dreyfus case, has been abandoned. This step hail been taken because Deutricho hod been tried by courtmurtiut and acquitted. M. Deutniche, ia it) alleged, had erased entries of payments to suborned witnesses who had appeared in the Dreyfus case on the side of the War Ofllce. Wlk« discovered he was reported to have said he won only making the books harmonise with the evidence.
