A Sad Case.

(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 8. The inquest was continued to-day respecting the death of the twin infants of Susannah Wainwright, a single woman who was coniincd in % the stable of her employer. The "womnn herself gave evidence that she. left the place carrying a baby on each arm. Rain came on at night, and she fell asleep. Whet she woke up'the children were dead, and she put the bodies in a carpet bag she waß carrying. Medical evi- „. dence was given that the infants i'A had been prematurely born. The na- '■% val strings were tied and the bodies showed that they had been partially cleaned and cared for. Considering her mental and physical

condition and the surrounding cirV cumstances Dr. Stenliouse thought the woman had done all she could for the children. The jury found that death was caused by prematurity of birth, accelerated by exposure and cold, the mother Susannah Wainwright being in such a physical and mental condition at the time that she was not responsible for her actions.

The. woman was afterwards arrested on a charge of attempted concealment of birth and remanded to the 16th inst., on bail. WHY WASTE YOUR MONEY ? If you have rheumatism, geut, o r ■cia'ica, it is useless to hope for a permanent cure from a liniment. 1 You can expect, at th« best, nothing but a temporary relief. If you want to cure yourself you must deal with the Cause, which is uric acid in the tryatem. Turner's Rheumo achieves this object; it drives out the uric acid, and all rheumatic or sciatic pains at once cease. Sold everywhere, 2s 6d and ' *• Mrf-7Ketopthoroe, Prosaer and Co.
