WAIHI, Nov. 7. A miner ntimed Dehi, working in a stojie at the Waihi G.M. Conqiany's mine, was killed at noon to-day by a fall of quartz coming away "fr o iii the side of the wall. Death was instantaneous. Deceased was married, and a recent arrival Ir 0 m Australia.
WELLINGTON, Nov. 7. The dead body of John Dillon, aged forty, was found in a bedroom at a boardinghouste at Ngahauranga, where he ha<d been staying. Dillon was discharged a few days qgo from the hospital, where he had be™ under treatment for] heart disease and lung trouble. ; A serious accident occurred on an electric tram in Adeiaid» Road. Eliza Baker was travelling on the upl M 'r deck of a doubl&deck Oar, and rose to igo down while the car was in motion. She was warned, but proceed down the steps nnd lost her balance, falling out into the road. She was picked up and was found to be suffering from concussion of the brain and shock, and was removed to the hospital.
NELSON, Nov. 7. Waiter AMbott, aged 22, formerly or Oaimaru, died to-day from heart disease. Last Tuesday lie gave a brilliant acrobatic performance >at a gymnasium c-ntd/tainment, and afterwards complained of fatigue.
