NEW PHASE OF THE KEENAN CASE. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 7. A new pluta.' of the Keeium-Iving caso came before the Mng'istVale's Court to-day, when a demand was made on behalf of K»xnan for possession of a will made by him in March, l'JOa, and £lO claimed for its detention.

King refused to deliver up possession, and coitresp'ondence which hud passed between the solicitors showed that ho ImU expressed his readiness to deliver up to Keeiuui all papers, books, documents, etc., but had suggested waiting until his counsel returned from tihe Appeal Court sitting. The partits eventually met, when King bunded over a gold watch, the key of a siufo, etc. Objection was taken to giving up the will, as it might be required for the defence in the forgpry case aguinst King, and it was agreed that the Will should remain in the possession ol Mr Sim, counsel for King. This arrangement was cancelled day, and a demand made for the Will and other papers. Klin;' tlien declined to give up tlie will till the trial.
