Prices of new season's expected to rule about 4d for large, 4Jd (or medium and 4Jd for loaf. BURNSIDE STOCK SALES. (Per Prnra Association.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 2. Fat cattle.—l 44 yarded, mostly good to prime. Competition was keen at prices 10s to 15s per head above last week. Best bullocks £ll 10s to £l2 5s (one or two pens of extra prim's and heavy fetching £l2 12s 6<l to £l3 7s 6d), medium to good £9 10s to £lO 10s, light £7 2s 6d to £8 7a 6d, best heifers £8 5s to £9 7s 6d, good to besit £6 15s to £7 15s, light and medium £4 7s j6d to £5 15s. Suckers and slips weiv in good demamd, amd prices for these were higher than .last Wednesday. Porkers were back, but bat Oners were very firm. Suckers 12s to 15s, slips 16s to 20s, storee 21s to 255, porkers 26s to 355, light baconers 41s to 47s 6d, heavy do. 48s to 545.

DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET. DUNEDIN, Nov. 2. Wheat.—The market is void of animation, and the quantity of prime milling in store on groweifi' account is small, and with only moderate demand a clearance could soon ljo elfected. Prime milling 3s 8d to 3s 9d, medium to good 3s 3d to 3a 6d., best whole fowl feed 3s Id to 3s 2d, broken and damaged 2s 6d to 2s 10(1; sacks extra. Oats.—There ie no improvement to note in the tone of the market, which continues extremely weak. Business is confined to retail lots for local consumption.
