(Par Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 1, At the Police Court, before Mr C, C. Graham, S.M., Lee Sun was charged with, on October 22nd, unlawfully selling a ticket by which, oaid ticket permission was given io the purchaser tliereoC to have a n interest in a scheme by which prizes of money are gained by a mode ol chance. The evidence of the detectives wm v (bat accused was a Belter ol pak-*> pu tickets, and they had purchased thorn from Wmi. The defence was that the Supwpja. Court had already vuled that pak-a-pu did not come under section I<L' The magistrate said that, with »H d'.ifc resiwct to Uie Chief Justice, i'ji# tuought he bad Made a mistake. Tne profits niu»t bo very consiiderable, judging by the number of people who nocked to such places. Ha would fine the defendant £IOO and cists. There were threo other similar cases against the same defendant, and two against Joe How. Notice of appeal was given, and those cases were adjourned, pending a deoMOB by the higher court. '• (
