In the lUtufw the Railways Improvements and Authorisation Bill, Speakers' and Legislative Officers' Salaries Bill and Railway ' Servico ComptrisaM'on Bill were rend a second time.
The Railways Improvements Authorisation Bill and Ammunition Sup]dy Bill passed through committee. In committee on tho Speaker's and Legislative Officers' Salaries Bill exception was taken to the salary of the Speaker of the Legislative Council being increased to £BOO, and the amount was struck out bv 49 votes to 21,
