DUNEDIN, Oct. 80. The Weather way beautifully line for the conclusion of the golf championship meeting. Tlia links were in perfect ■condition, and the contest between A, 11. Fisher owl G. H. MacEwan was expected to be keen, but MacEwan made a bod start in. the morning, though ■he pulled himself together, and they were all , square at eighth holo. A. Wisher's score fw the half round was 41, or one less than Bogey. At the eleventh hole the scores wore equal, ami titty were the same at the eighteenth, MacEwan doing the second half of the round in 40. In the second round Fisher went oil with a lead, a nd at the sixth hole was threo up. This advantage liu maintained throughout, playing with great confidence and Ktcadi. ness, and the game was practically over at the fifteenth hole, where Fisher was Dorniie throe. He thus won the championship 3 up and 2 to play, completing one round in 84 aiid two rounds i, n 166, while MacEwan did lIS holes in 163. The winncir was heartily applauded.
