A motion to inaugurate a New Zealand Baptist Total Abstainers' Society was lost, also a motion to alter the constitution to permit of tile appointment of lady delegates. In the evening a discussion took place' 011 the relation of the church to money and labour. DUNEDIN, Oct. 25.

The business to-day dealt mainly with missionary work. At the mission luncheon addressee were given by Revs. Hewitson (Presbyterian), W. Sanders (Congregational), and W !A.
