(Per Press Association.) GIBBOHNE. Oct. 25. At tho show to-day tho judging wus partially dono. Sheep and cattle weie not up to tine average in number, though the 'quality was high lino chief features of tho sliow were the horse classes, especially for harness and satldle. Messrs Holden Ui os. won the prize for champion cow. Mr A. Mclvenzie secured the championship in sheep classes. Tile niimben of sheep shown was quite disappointing. "King Jimmy" again won the hunter competition, out of twelve entries. The judge declared tho troop horses to bo the best, ho had seen on any show ground' in New Ztaland. Messrs Wittens ilros. Won the first uml second prizes with ".liugler" amd " Starlight," out of seventoeu entries. For polo pony Mr E. Monckton's " Lanie" won first prize, and Mr C. A. Sheriff won first am] second lor pony dravun by a lady, out of fourteen eatries. Tho tandem team sihown by Messrs Redstone and Son scored a first. The mercantile firms made a splendid display of implements. The weather does not look well for the " People's Day."
