Young Man's Sad End. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 10. A distressing occurrence took place at Galatea on October 6th. A young . man named Percy Burgoyne, son of the teacher of tho school at Whakarcwarewa, who was visiting at Mr Turnbull's place. During the latter's absence Burgoyne was left in charge of the placto but on Mr Turnbull's return Burgjjhe was not to be found. A search' wis m a de by Mr. Turnbull, who subsequently found Burgoyne's body in a small Pool of Water in a creek close by. Efforts were made to restore '-respiration,, but without success, death evidently having taktfe place some time before. It is surmised that the deceased must have gone for a walk along the bank of- the creek, and w a s overcome by a fit, to which he was subject, and. had fallen into the pool face downwards. Deceased was twenty years of age.
