TROUBLE OVER A CANDIDATE'S NOMINATION, CONSERVATIVES DIVIDED. LONDON, Sept 30. Mr H. L. Marks, editor and chief proprietor of the Financial News, has N.-n nominated as Conservative candidate for the vacancy for 1 he Isle of Thanet Division of Kent, c-nd Mi' Kim* by the Liberals. The la tter's nomination was signed iby several Conservatives, who object to Marks on account of his record in the law courts.
