TESTING THE STHENHTG OF HIS PARTY. THE CENSURE MOTION. (Received Sept. 21, 1.7 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 20. Mr J. C. Wateon, Leader of the Opposition, in moving his motion of censure in the Federal House, admitted that there was nothing in the Government programme for this session to take exception to. Mr Reid had declared war on the ; Labour Party, and the question was whether private enterprise was to have full sway, or whether the Government should interfere on behalf of the weak against the strong. Believing in the latter view it was his duty to test the Government position and define the strength of the parties.
