QUESTION OF THEIR DESTRUCTION IN AUSTRALIA. PASTEUR INSTITUTE OFFER,. (Received Sept. 20, 1.4 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 19, The Pasteur Institute lms agreed, for the purpose of practical demonstration, to furnish scientific men and the laboratory equipment mecessSary to supply virus for the des ytru'etion of rabbits, on payment iof £SOOO sterling. A meeting of pastoralists discussed the matter, a suggestion being made that the Stock JSoarba should lurnish half this amount, and the Government the balance.
A deputation will shortly inter-i view the Government on the eulj-' ject, and.it is also hoped to enlist the co-operation of the other States in the experiment.
