John Hales, of Uio Avenue Read Dairy, was charged that being the owner of a registered "dairy he rlirj buy milk from an unregistered daii y Mr Malone, for defendant, said (he present case was practically part and parcel of the previous charges. Mis client knew the dairies were unregistered, but was not aware it was an offence to buy therefrom. The inspector acknowledlgiad the Avenue Dairy was a model one in all respects, cleun uml well managed. Mr Malone raised the objection that there was no offence under the Act in buying milk from unregistered premises, land the Magjstrote adjourned the case for a week in order that the department may atjtain the services of the Crown Prosecutor.
