Advices from Tokio, published at Rome, state that the Japanese desperately attacked the forts at An-; 1 tishan, westwards of Port Arthur, ' and the railway to Kekwah, captur- 1 ing at the bayonet's • point the ' heights southward of Tung-chia-ton, ; which is south-west of Ke'kwan. The bombardment of the town and harbour has recommenced from thence, with terrible effect.
