(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, August 30. In the Council Hon. J. Rigg, in a lengthy speech, moved a motion deprecating the introduction of Chinese indentured labour into South Africa. The debate was adjourned. In the House the Licensing Act Amendment Bill was introduced by Governor's message and read a time on the voices. The rest of the afternoon was devoted to formal business.
