BECK'S SOLATIUM INSUFFICIENT. LONDON, August 19. Adolf Beck' has asked the Treasury to re-consider the offer of £2OOO made as a solatium for his wrongful imprisonment. The newspapers havo now taken the matter up, many declaring that the amount is qjuito inadequate. They also demand .an inquiry into the wholo business.
