~ 'DUNEDIN, August 17. At-the Burnside market 145 fat Cattle wtere yarded, mostly medium " bullocks. The demand was flat throughout, and prices were back fully 10s. Fat bullocks realised £lO to £lO 13s, medium £9 2a 6d to 49 15s, light £8 5s to £9; best heifers £6 15a to £7 7b 6d, medium £8 to £6 10s, fight £5 to £5 10s. Fat sheep.—lß6l were panned, mostly wethers from good to prime. The entry proved in excess of requirements, and there was drop of 6d to Is per head. A truck of 64 merino wethers brought 14s 9d to 15s '6d. Best crossbred wethers 23s 6d to 25s 6d (one pen of extra prime 26s 6d), medium 21a 6d to 22s 9d light 19s 6d to 20s 3d. • Lambs.—247 were penned, and there was a good demand for all classes, prices remaining unchanged Best lambs 16s 3d to 17s 6d, medium las to 16s, light 13s to 14s 6d.
