Stevenson moved, That (Ik-clerk report to Noxious Weeds Inspector the names of those liuWo for the gorse, etc., and that the matter of tool- house stand over. Cr. Siluiw asked whether the Oeo team paid more than the Purihaka team.—The clerk showed it was not so. The Rahotu foreman's report was read. The South, road, in Rahotu Hiding, was stated to be in Rood order, and that in Opunalce Riding in fair order.—Cr. Shaw proposed that a team be put on. Hie Eltliam roud for patching.—Seconded by Cr. Htirgoss and carried. Notice was given of rotes as follows :—Jd, Rahotu Riding ;; f-d, Opunake Riding; land two |d (1J) rales for Oco. Cr. Dudley moved, That the foreman be instructed to see to the safety of the Okahu bridge.—Seconded by Cr. Burgess and carried. The matter of culvert near Ilakaria's was left over. The clerk was instructed to write to the Public Works Department to ascertain cost of old rails. The clerk is to wnite to Taranaki County Council asking for credit note for the money paid by the Government to their credit. Accounts amounting to £l!>9 8s lOd were, passed.—Hawera Star.
