Dudley moved, That the foreman be instructed to see to the safety of the Okahu bridge.—Seconded by Cr. Burgess and carried. The matter of culvert near Ilakaria's was left over. The clerk was instructed to write to the Public Works Department to ascertain cost of old rails. The clerk is to wnite to Taranaki County Council asking for credit note for the money paid by the Government to their credit. Accounts amounting to £l!>9 8s lOd were, passed.—Hawera Star.
