Fat cattle.—ls6 head were yarded, consisting of medium to good bullocks, with an odd pen of prime cattle. 'Prices were slightly easier, the drop amounting to aliout ' 10s per head. There were no good heifers brought forward. Prime bullocks made £lO to £lO 7s 6d, medium do. £8 15s to £9 15s, light do. £7 10s to £8 10s. Cows from £5 to £6 10s.
Fat sheep.—Only a moderate entry, 1503 being pqnned. There was a good demand, and prices were better by about 2s to 2s 6d per heaa all* round. Best wethers 24s 6d to 25s 3d, medium do. 21s to 235, light 18s 6d to 20s, best ewes 21s to 22s fed, medium do. 19s 6d to 20s 6d, light do. 17s to 18s Od. Lambs. Only 95 were penned, Notwithstanding the small entry there was no alteration in prices. Best fetched up to 17s 6d, medium 15s 6d to 16s, light 13s tki. I*ig6.—ln these, too, there was a' small yarding, 60 being, offered. Suckers and slips were in better demand than at last week's sale, other, classes .being unchanged. Suckers realised 13s Od to 15si, slips 16s to 18s, stores 19s to 235, porkers 24s to 335, baconers 37s to 495, choppers to 725.
