ADALAIDE, August 8, In the Assembly, the Treasurer, in moving a bill to authorise the raising of £1,180,000 to cover delicits of the Northern Territory, said that owing to the prevention of employment of suitable labour, it was impossible to develop tropical agriculture. It was unfair to South Australia to be called upon to hold territory for a ■'•' white Australia " unless it was permitted to develop its resources.
