DAMAGE BY FLOODS.
RAILWAY ACCIDENT IN WEST AUSTRALIA. PERTH, August 2. There are heavy rains in the coastal districts. A hridgc on the Bunfjury railway has been washed away, andjiumcrous small washouts on the southern railway have occurred.
An accident, resulting in the death of Geer (engine diiver) and Lyons (fireman), happened on the Upper Anning railway, owing] to the) wushing away of a culvert. It was a goods train, and it dashed into a gully, the men beinig pinned under the engine. Two trucks were piled above them. The guard escaped with a shaking.
