CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 1. The Harbour Board Conference opened hero to-day. Committees were set up to draft a Harbour Boards) Constitution llill. On Wellerogton's suggestion the Government will be asked to amend the Harbours Act, so as to empower boards to levy differential rates on different classeß of goods, and to cliargo rents on goods stored on wharves for more than four days.
