FEDERAL AFFAIRS.
CAPITAL SITE QUESTION. SYDNEY, August!. The Premier is 0 r opinion that the Federal Parliament has no constitutional right to select any capital site it chooses, the right of choice lying with the State. Ho intends to ask the State Parliament, which soon meets, to select a site, which the Federal Parliament will be asked to accept. The Government is absolutely opposed to a 900 square miles area.
