A steamer .Was Cmoorcd at the Ablwtsloi'd .wharf, and hundreds crowded the awning of the upper deck. As the scullers passed the steamer heeled over, and those on tue port aide ' ill the deck were up to their knees-' i n water. The awning gave ■ a panic ensued. Numbers of persons fell or were pushed into the water, but all were eventually fescued.
