A I'IvOSI'KUOUS QUAIITER. A statement of the postal revenue (or the quarter ended June 30th appears in this week's Gazette. The total revenue from all sources amounted to 4i15:!,:-jna, against £130.U'JO for the corresponding period last year. Postal receipts amounted to £79,381, and the remainder is co.nposed of telegraph revenues. The telegraph revenue was composed as iollows :—Telegrams £39,202, tclcplumj exchanges £31,108, mlscelUmeous £530. The revenue collected at the four centres was : Wellington £35,000, Auckland £21,000. tlhristchunli £19,111, llunedin £1.0,702. The total miinlvr of telegrams transmitted (exclusive of (iouTiiiiieut tclegramsn was 1,112,007. t)f this numher H 00.330 were ordinary, 12,520 urgent, and 88,700 press telegrams.'
