THE Shooting Season (or Native Game (excepting native pigeon, kaka, pukeko, wio. or blue duck, tui, huia, white heron, and created grebe) and Imported Game in the district, consisting of the Counties of Tavanaki, Clifton, and Egmont (excepting the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, Kaitake Ranges, being sections 168 and 170, in the Oakura District, and l'araninihi or White Clills Reservation) will commence on the Ist May and end on 31st July, both days inclusive. In the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, being the area within the circumference of a circle having a radius of six miles from the summit of Mount Egmont, the shooting of Native and Imported Garno is strictly prohibited at all times.
