To Sawmillero and Capitalists^ SPLENDID BTJSH FOE SALE, APPLICATIONS are Invited for the right to cut timber on 11,000 acres of bush in the North Island. The timber, whicn can be immediately utilised, is puriri, within two miles of the sea coast, and the best that can oe obtained in the colony. Many of tbe trees, which have been inspected by Mr Charles Clayton, Government Surveyor and exaawmill . proprietor, are by girth from ft to 15 feet, and in length from 14 to 30 feet. The bush is easy of access and to work, anu should prove a most remunerative investment for any capitalist or company. Mr Charles Clayton •ays '" There are plenty of places throughout New Zealand where mills are placed with nothing like the timber and prospects that the bush in question possesses, and the great facilities and advantages for .working it." The object should be first to deal with the puriri, as the Government Railway Department offer an iriimediate market for sleepers in any quantity. This bush has been sought after for tbe last 25 years, but the difficulty in dealing with the natives haa hitherto been insuperable. The N.Z. Herald supplement recently contained a notice of the excellent quality of the timber, on this land. It is estimated that there is ample timber to furnish a supply fOr 20 or 80 years.
