The Duke of Devonshire moves a motion in the House' of Lords. # TOBACCO DUTY ) KBATE. " ; LONDON', July 19. ; Mr Austin Chamberlain, Chancellor of the Exchequer, granted a rebate of six farthings per pound on shipped tobacco in bond on the day the Budget was delivered, reducing receipts from £550,000 to £350,000.
