SUPPOSED MURDER.
GRIM MESSENGER FROM THE SEA, (Received July 18, 10.12 p.m.) LONDON, July 18. The body of Mr Loomis, whose mysterious disappearance was cabled on the arrival of a steamer from America some weeks since, has been found cast ashore at Thurlestone. It is supposed the man fell overboard near Eddystono Lough. A wound at the back of the ear suggests murder.
