COLLAPSE OF A FARMHOUSE. MOTHER AND CHILD KILLED. (Received July 18, 1.4 a.m.) MELBOURNE, July 17. A hurricane in the north-eastern ■ districts did much damage to property. ■ A farmhouse collapsed at Avenel, and Mrs Talbett and a child were ' killed. Other persons sleeping in the house had narrow escapes.
