The Waitara Rifles go into camp near Waitara on tho 28rd of July, it has boen suggested that tlio two headquarters compamics should go out on tho following Thursday by tho 1 o'clock trafc and combine with the Waitara Rifles in some skirmishing practice around either Sentry Hill or Waitara Road. The three corps would, it is proposed, have taa together at the camp and tho two New Plymouth companies afterwards return by tho evening train reaching hew Plymouth at 7.50. Blank ammunition could be taken and tho men would probably require their haversacks and water-bottles. It is a ffood opportunity to carry out some interesting and instructive work and it is to be hoped that full advantago will bu taken of it. H
