Masterton Fire Fatality.
(Per Press Association.) MASTERTON, July 15. At the inquest on John Murphy burned in the flro at uhe Queejtfi ~ Hotel, the verdict was "death b» ? suffocation." A rider was added that it was unfortunate there were > no sash weights to the lower win- '■'■ dows of the 'bedrooms to keep the windows up and allow escape rones to be used, *^
