VICTORIOUS JAPANESE FIND IIURNINQ WAREHOUSED
LONDON, July 12. A Russian correspondent says that on Saturday morniiig, when tha Jopnnese infantry crossed the river and occupied Kai-ping unopposed, they were greeted only by the smoke from the warehouses, which tho Russian* had set on lire.
Another Russian correspondent say* that on Friday night the Russian* evacuated Kal-ping, considering' that it had been held as long as advisable in face of the growing numbers of the enemy.
