A "FAT YEAR" FOR NEW SOUTH * WALES. SYDNEY, July 11. Heavy floods are reported in the Hunter district, and farms around Maitland are inundated. Floods are reported from other parts of the State. A woman was drowned at Murruniundi. The town dt Penrith was plunged in darkness owing to the flood water extinguishing the fires in the electric light pow-er-house. Eight inches of rain was recorded in Syd«ey for eight hours.
