SHOOTING SEASON, 1904. (From Ist May to 31st July.) THE Shooting Season (or Native Game (oxcepting native pigeon, kaka, pukeko, wio. or blue duck, tui, huia, white heron, and crested grebe) and Imported Game in tho district. consisting of the Counties of Taranaki, Clifton, and Egmont (excepting the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, Kaitake Ranges, being sections 168 and 170, in the Oakura District, and Paraninihi or White Cliffs Reservation) will commonce on the Ist Mav and end on 81st July, both dayß inclusive. In the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, being the area within the circumference of a circle having a radius of six miles fr«m the summit of Mount Egmont, the shooting of Native and Imported Game is strictly prohibited at all times.
