H A CONTRETEMPS. ■ (Received July 5, 10.21 p.m.) ■ BRISBANE, July 5. H When the House of Assembly met ■ Sir Arthur Rutledge announced tluit so far he had not completed his task forming a Ministry. He asked the to grant a further extension a week to allow"-him an opportuof completing a Cabinet. Mr Morgan Considered the demand unreasoonbke, as Sir Arthur had given no assurance he was able to command a nial Jority. The House adjourned till to-mor- , row. Sir Arthur Rutledge subsequently stated that he would probably wait on tbe Governor, to-night or to-mor-row and withdraw his commission.
