The sailor Carter, arrested on a charge of stealing Nelson relics, states that he obtained possesion of Nelson's watch from a destitute sailor in Melbourne, who admitted that ho was concerned in the theft of the relics. President Loubet, in receiving the British workmen's delegates in Paris, paid a hearty and graceful tribute to King Edward's share in securing tho entento coi'diale, saying that his Majesty's share in this achievement exceeded even tho part taken by the British people and Government.
