Air l'itt moved that the Council place oil recosd its regret at the death of Mr O'Meara and appreciation of the services rendered as a muutlwr and sympathy to the willow awl family of deceased. Hon. li. FELDWICIv (Otago) seconded. eulogising the deceased meuihcr, and said that genuine sorrow was felt for the loss sustained by the Legislature. Hoi;. W. C. SMITH (iiawke's hay) spoke ii. a similar strain.
