At the Antwerp wool sales there was a numerous attendance, but little animation, except in crosyhreds, which fetched l'ully five centimes advance on April rates. Good qualities were withdrawn and ordinary Jell five centimes. TALLOW, HIDES, Etc. LONDON, June 29. At the tallow auctions 1875 casks were -offered and 675 sold. Fine mutton made 27s 6d, medium 245, fine beef 27s 6d, and medium 25s per cwt. MELBOURNE, June 30. Tallow meets with an improved demand, rat<>s for prime assortments advancing. Prime mutton realises £2l ss, and prime mixed £los 15s per ton. For hides a moderate demand exists. New Zealand stouts 6d to 7jd per lb, heavies 5d to s}*d, aperage medium 4Jd. HOiIF.BI.SH SALES. SYDNEY, June 30. At Homebush sheep values declined. Crossbreds were scarce. Best wethers made 18s Gd, good 17s 6d. Horses—At the Durham yards on lYtday there was a good entry of horses, and for anything of a heavy Class competition was keen. Heavy draughts sold from £3l to £44 10b, medium do. £22 5s to £3B 15s, light harness horses £lO 10s to £2O ss, hacks £5 15s to £lB 10s, weeds £1 10s to £6 15s. A sulky realised £lO .10s, a spring cart £l2 ss. Cattle.—At the Newmarket yards on Tuesday there was a moderate muster of dairy and store stock and a full supply of beef. Dairy cows made from £4 15s to £'9 10s, emptydo. £2 10s to £4 Bs, calves £1 lis to £2 13s. Fat cattle, of which there were some of excellent quality yarded, sold irregularly. We quote ox beef to 235, and cow 17s to 21s per lOOlbs. Fat steers sold from £6 5s to £ll 12s 6d, fat cows £4 5s to £7 10s. Sheep were yarded in usual numbers at Newmarket on Tuesday, and met with good competition. We quote fat wethers from 13s 9d to 23s 3d, fat ewes 12s Gd to 17s 9d. Pigs.—Porkers brought from 19s 6d to £2 10s, weaners 8s (id to 16s, baconers £2 lis to £3 7s. On Tuesday we submitted a large catalogue of hides, skins, tallow, etc. , Hides.—Market firm for all wellflayed lots. We quote Prime ox 7}d to 7jd, extra stout do. 7d to 7Jd, stout do. 6Jd to 6|d, medium do. s{d to' Gd, light do. 4jd to Bid, cow (best lines) 4§d, good 4jd .to 4Jd, scored and cut 3fd to 4d, stagfc 3d to 3id, kip 4d to 4|d, calfskins 5d to sJdi cut 4d to 4jd. Sheepskins.—Market firm at last week's prices. Best butchers' skins sold from 3s Gd to 3s lOd, country butchers' 3s to 3s 9d, small and damaged Is Gd to 2s 3d. Tallow.—Market dull. Good lines In shipping casks made 18s to 18s 6d, seconds 14s to 16s 6d, rough fat ljd to Ud. Bones £5. Horsehair Is 2d to Js Bd. Tails Is sd. Wool (in bales and bags).—Crossbred sfd to 6|d, cotts 5d to 5Jd, pieces 3Jd to 3|d locks 2d to 2fd. Maize.—Heavy arrivals of both old and new have weakened the market, 2s 2d being the price ruling on wharf. Oats.—No change in prices to report. Chaff.—ln good demand. We quote Southern of prime quality firm at £5 per ton. Potatoes. Late heavy supplies have been worked off somewhat,and the market is firmer ; Southern being from £2 10s to £3, ex store. Butter.—Supplies are very restricted, owing no doubt to the severe .wintry weather. Very prime separator is in strong demand, and realising up to B|d ; inferior qualities 7d to Bd. Cheese.—Stocks are heavy and sales not brisk, notwithstamding lower prices. GRAIN REPORT. WELLINGTON, June 29. Mr F. Pownall, of the New Zeaiaad and Canterbury Farmers Cooperative Associations, Wellington, reports as follows, all 'Quotations toting f.0.b., port of shipment, sacks extra, unless specified Oats.—A general hardening is being experienced through restricted threshings, though statistical returns just published should induce holders to unburden, with outlook for abnormal surplus to be carried over at end of season. B-grade Danish call for Is sd, Gartons Is /6Jd to Is 6d, Kewmarket Is 6d, Bosebcrry and Tartars Is 6}<i, SBllls and Duns Is 7d, Canadians Is Bd, seeds Is BJd to Is 10JU. Wheat.—SMpments outwards are heavy. Home market being considered' safer than colonial, while flour Cutting predominates. Velvet rules at 3s, Tuscan 2s lid, Hunters 2s 9d. Sound feed finds buyers at 2s 4Jd, seconds 2s. Potatoes.—Table keepers hold at 82s 6d s.i., with supply above requirements. Seeds £2 to £4 10s s.i. Maize has firmed at 2s 4d s.i., with small business operating. Barley.—Feed has more request at 2s, malting, irregular, 3s, Cape 2.5, pearl barley £l3 10s b.i. Beans.—Stocks are thinning quietly, hard qualities realising 3s. crushed 3s 4d, seeds 3s 4d. Prussians are dragging at 3s 6ci,
Partridge, scarcer, 3s (id, pig iiel peas 2s 6d, split peas £l3 10s b.i pigmeal £4 s.i. Bran.—Value stands at £2 5s s.i with full stores. Pollard is selling freely at £4 E s.i., with probable weakening. Oatmeal.—Quotations are variabl £9 10s s.i. being nominal cost, c 25'8; rolled oats £l2 c.i.f.s.i. Chaff enjoys healthy trade, outpu equalling consumption. Bright cu returns 72s Gd s.i. North, and 7(J s.i. South. Straw chaff 52s Gd s.i. Hay.—Pressed straw has good in tjuiry at 85s, rye-clover dull at 52 6d, all-clover 90s.
