A Station Sale.
(Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, July 3. At the View Mount Estate, Methven, sale of stock consequent upon the estate being sold and cut up for subdivision, big prices were obtained. Eight thousand sheep were offered, and sold at an average of 21s 4Jd, which for on« station's output is regarded as a record for tho colony.. Four thousand five hundred breeding ewes brought from 21s 3d to 265, 2200 lambs 13s 7a to 19s, 600 merino owes 12s 9d, 180 rams 7s 6d to 2 guineas, 220 fat sheep 18s 5d to 21s 6d, 150 store ewes 10s to 15s lid. The horses, 33 in number, averaged £34, draughts sell number, averaged £34, draughts selliog up to £(i2.
