Nicbol, Hampden, for lescuing Julia Griffith _ from drowning on March 7th, 1903; letter of commendation- to Rutherford Niohol, in connection with tho same incident ; silver m«dals to William Jirooks, chief oilicer of tho Star of Australia, and W. E. | Smith for rescuing Michael Foley from drowning at Wellington in November, 1902; silvor medal for Georgo Henry llristow for rescuing Lewis Jones from drowning at Napier, on December sth, 1903 ; silver medal to Mrs George Williamson, jun., for rescuing Ringi Wilkinson and Cissy Young from drowning at Otorohangia on January 19th, 1904 framed certificate to James McLennen, for rescuing Lionel Stanton from drowning at Dunwlin on March 6th, 1904 ; bronze medal to Leonard Thorp, for saving Helen Perrin from , drowning at Auckland on February 4th, 1904 ; certificate to James Cook Young, for rescuing Harry Onslow from drowning at Wellington on November 2nd, 1903 ; bronze medal to GeorjgV W-orree Shillon (uino years old) who at great personal risk launched ft boat at Groymouth lagoon, and saved Robert Clark from drowning oil March 26th, 1904,
