Thereafter the Saturday night boat from Wellington will be the Takapuna, which will leave at 9 p.m., The new time-table of the Union Steam Ship Company tor its New Plymouth-Onehuiiga line will conn; into force by the Kotoili leaving Wellington on June 30th, and thereafter on each successive Thursday. and by the Takapuna leaving on .Tuesdays. The Kotoiti will call at Nelson each week, but the Takapuna will come to New Plymouth direct. The present sailing days from Wellington are Mondays and Fridays.

The New /A>alanrt Herald says :i On completion of her overhaul at Wellington, the I'nion Company's steamer Takapuua will change trips with the Rutoiti, on the OnehungaNew Plymouth-Wellington run next week. The Union Steam Ship Company have arranged for the Takapuua to lea\e Onehunga on Thursdays, proceeding to New Plymouth and Wellington, and leaving the latter port for Lyttelton ou Saturday nights, thus revert iiig to the old run of a direct service from Onehunga to Lyttelton. The Takapuna reaches Onehunga on Thursday morning, and leaves the same afternoon for the South.
