11,. *». tern l'ark Hoard met in Mr I.e. i -rge's ollice on Saturday night. M.., n! : MessrsG. W. Drown (cliairnv. Medley, Skinner and George (i. ,1. secretary). The treasurer reported having received an advance of £lO from the llorough Council ; he had also received through the town clerk a letter from the Tukapa Football Club re improving the ground, etc. ; aLso an offer of £8 per annum for the .small paddock behind Kyngdon's. The following resolutions wav passed :—That three members form a quorum of the board ; that an account be opened at the Inion Hank of Australasia, to be operated upon by the treasurer; that the letting of the small paddock be left to the secretary to make arrangements, tenancy to be subject to termination on three months' notice ; that the Tukapa Football Club be invited to a conference with the Hoard on the subject of their letter ; that no objection be made to Mr Kyndgon removing the fence from that portion of Fulford-street adjoining his property ; that having in view lite valuable services rendered over a number of years to -New Plymouth by Mr T. K. Skinner, he lie requested to kindly prepare a scheme for laying out the part near Mr Kyndgon's. It was also resolved to plant shelter trees on the east und south boundaries of the park, the matter being left to the secretary to arrange.
