A farewell conversazione, tendered to Lord lianfnrly by the citizens of Welling-ton, whs held in the I'arlianientnry iiuildings this evening. The arrangements were on an elaborate scale, ami there was a very large gal hiring of the public. The Mayor (Mr .1. (!. w. The people of New Zealand would, lie felt sure, follow with deep interest his Lordship's future career. Kir Jospeh Ward, speaking on behalf of the Ministry, s;aid he took leave of Lord lianfurly with great regret, for his Excellency had filled his high OIIVO with conspicuous ability. Lord lianfurly, in reply, expressed his appreciation of the kindness mid courtesy he liad met with in all parts of the colony during his stay. Ho added that any service ho coujd render New Zealand in the future would bo carried put with the greatest pleasure,
