School Commissioners.
At the ordinary meeting of tlic School Commissioners there were pi\>sent—Messrs Cock (chairman), Wtwlo, Paull, and Allsworth.
A special resolution relating to the surrender of a lease of town sections by the Morslread Nursery Company, ami the Issuing of a now lease for tlieso sections on terms specified was amended and conlirmed. Tho board also amended ami confirmed a special resolution relating to loaso of land on town bolt from Mi) H. L. Stanford to Sir G. T. 13ayly, ami from Mr E. Griffiths to Mr G. T. Hayly. A new leaso will ba issued on terms specified.
Tho board's solicitor reported at length on tho proposed exchango of sections at To Ilunui with Mr 1-1. M. Skeet.
The ranger's report on a number of properties was read, and the secretary was directed to communicate with lessees affected*
Mr D, Solo reportod on certain town and suburban properties, and it was resolved to direct tho attention of the Carrington Koiid liourd to the noxious weeds glowing on Wis Mill ltoii'd in that diMrict. reported a balance of *,819 IBs Id. It was decided to pay out £6OO on account of primary education.
