The Daily Telegraph states that a departmental committee recommends that the Board of Trade should be transformed into a Ministry of Commerce. The Industry Committee recommends tho appointment of a Minister of Commerce at a salary of £SOOO. MINISTER AND SOLDIER DISAGREE. OTTAWA, June 10. Major-General the Earl of Dundonald, commanding in Canada, addressing military officers at Montreal, attacked the Minister for Agriculture who for purely personal or political reasons was interfering to reject oflicers he had recommended. Sir Wilfrid Laurier {Dominion Premier) says the Cabinet regards the dispute gravely.
