AN ELECTION PROGRAMME* (Received June If), 1.8 a.m.) At a conference of farmers and sottiers an election platform was adopted. This includes references to fta following subjects State land and bank legislation, closer, settlement,, water conservation, local government, and a progressiva railway policy. It recommends the Federal Government to offer £IOO,OOO reward for tho successful introduction of a diseaso for the extermination of rabbits, while 'being innocuous to human lifo.
